Description

Origin: Taiwan (Hsinchu)

"Reprocessed Tea" is made from fine steamed green tea leaves and tender stems that are sorted out during the refinement process (branch sorting) and then further roasted.

These tea leaves and tender stems are specially selected due to the difficulty of separating them (see product photos for reference). After roasting, the tea leaves release a toasty, grain-like aroma, while the tender stems add a refreshing sweetness.

With a flavor profile similar to Japanese roasted tea, this tea has a low caffeine content, making it ideal for pairing with meals or for cold brewing.
